Meet the owner and read about our history as a local small business

In 2009, Steve founded Mobile Mower Blade & Service in order to help customers have easy means of getting mower repairs and to maintain their lawn equipment. Working alongside his uncle and learning the trade, Johnathan took over the business in 2012 and has been on the road since.


As the owner of Mobile Mower Blade & Service, he puts everything he has into the company and considers his customers family. When he is not working he enjoys spending time with his friends and family, working on his jeep, and doing outdoor activities.


Johnathan is very active in Spartan races and as a former skydiver, he loves to get the most adventure he can out of life!

  • How do I schedule service or repairs?

    The quickest way to schedule with us is by simply texting us at 980-721-1035 with your first and last name, street address and what you need from us! This way, everything is streamlined in one text and we can reference it!


    Your information will be added to the service list for your area, and you will be contacted when we schedule that area. Please note: We do not offer service calls on the weekend.


    During our busy months, March through October, please text us as soon as you think about it!  Our average wait time during this period is 6-8+ weeks and we want to get to you as soon as we can!

  • How often should you service a lawnmower?

    You should clean the spark plug, remove any debris, replace or sharpen the blades, ensure that the air filters are properly cleaned, and more in order to properly maintain your lawn mower. It is critical to maintain your lawn mower on a yearly basis or more frequently depending on how often it is used.

  • Do you provide any other mobile services?

    In addition to lawn mower repair and lawn mower servicing, we provide small engine servicing and maintenance. We would love to chat about your small engine maintenance needs and see what we can do to help.


    While we do not offer repairs to hand-held equipment such as chainsaws, string trimmers, and leaf blowers, we are happy to offer alternative servicer recommendations based on the customer's location.

  • Are lawn mowers worth repairing?

    This is a complex question. In most cases, it is usually cheaper to repair than it is to replace. Of course, the age of the mower and the cost of the necessary repairs will help determine this answer. 


    Remember, preventative maintenance (at least yearly) can go a long way in determining the life of your push or riding mower. Regardless, we will provide our honest insight when assessing your lawn equipment for repairs.

  • Is it possible my mower is causing my grass to turn brown?

    Yes! 


    Have you ever sharpened your lawn mower blades? When a blade is dull, it damages the grass rather than cutting it cleanly, resulting in brown tips and jagged edges. This increases the risk of pests and disease.

My riding mower hadn't been serviced in a couple years, so it needed a good top-down maintenance. Looked around and decided to call up Mobile Mowers.


I was informed it could be up to 2 weeks to get to me (I can see why they're so busy now!) Waited maybe 3 days before I was contacted and told they'd be in my area the next day. Excellent service. Johnathan arrived on time and cleaned out the carburetor on my X300 and got the mower working again.


I was discussing my gas powered Powerhorse pressure washer and Echo weedeater with him as I was concerned about these machines possibly not working either since I had left fuel in the tank and not used them in over 2 years. He was kind enough to go out of his way and look at them and luckily they cranked on right away.

Only five star rated mower service technician around here. And he definitely is worth five stars. I waited two weeks plus for his services and it was worth it. He was quick, efficient, very well priced at fixing my John Deere tractor by more than half what John Deere was going to charge.


 He is busy and it shows why. His work is excellent and he went above and beyond to be sure he was addressing the real issues I was having. He was prepared to resolve the other potential issues that may be occurring. I highly recommend Johnathan, and I rarely do recommendations. Thanks Johnathan!
